Fidicon Description

What is feedoocha ?
Do you know RSS Builder? Feedoocha is just another "RSS News Feed generator" developed with Mono under Linux platform using Gtk#; using the 2.0 RSS specs, feedoocha let's you create an XML file containing all the ionformation needed to create a feed.


Fidicon Features

With feedoocha you can create your own feed in two ways:
1) Creating or opening a local XML file
2) Importing/exporting from/to a remote FTP server
This first public beta release is just for testing; many features are still in developement. If you have any suggestion or any kind of request, please send me your feedback.

So far, the only available version is the executable file:

feedoocha_b01.tar.gz


Fidicon Install and run

Just extract the file from the archive and run it:

tar xzvf feedoocha_b01.tar.gz
mono feedoocha.exe


Fidicon How to use it

In order to import and export your feed from a remote FTP server, you must be sure to insert correct information inside the FTP Site Manager; if your feed is located in the following path:

http://www.yourservername.com/pathToFeed/feedFile.xml

then, in the FTP site manager you must enter the following data (the other informations are self-explained):

Remote host : www.yourservername.com
Remote path : /pathToFeed/
Remote file : feedFile.xml
